Happy Cruise Wishes

WAVES stand on the dock as they watch Navy men they have replaced in shore billets take their places on the fighting crew of a warship. A Long Voyage

WAVES traveled to Hawaii aboard a Naval transport ship. The voyage took a couple of weeks.

This photograph shows two WAVES playing darts while waiting for their ship to Hawaii to emark, circa January 1945.
